Each time I colloborate with a great musician I invariably walk away with new ideas and new inspirations. Working with these fantastic guitarists has expanded my horizons to encompass new worlds of music and sound. The four of us come from different styles of music, yet we all play guitars. Though some are acoustic and some are electric, we pick or pluck strings made of either nylon or steel.

Recorded and mixed September 1999 to November 2000.
With Andy: September 9 & 10, 1999
With Al: June 25 & 26, 2000
With Steve and solos: November 17 & 18, 2000

I must admit that I had never fully realized the magnitude and scope of Al's immense artistry. His music seems to dare us with its imagination, sensuality, brilliance and power. I first met him when shared halves of a concert at the Klavier Sommer Festival in Munich, Germany, and I was ecstatic when he agreed to lend his legendary talent to this project. I must say that keeping up with his playing forced me to take my technique to places it had never been before!
